6/16/2025: Father's Day Blog

 Huzzah!

Happy Late Father's Day! Before I get to the main topic of this blog, I'd first like to apologize about my absence from posting, I'm still trying to get used to having to write something every couple of days, and it has been a struggle to think of stuff to write about recently. So again, I'd like to apologize for my disappearance as of late.

Now for the true meat and potatoes of this blog. This Sunday was Father's Day, a day where we are able to celebrate our great dads in our life, and today I decided to focus this blog on the greatest father of them all, my own dad. In today's blog I will talk about three great reasons why I love my dad and appreciate what he does (There are many more reasons but I decided to choose the top three for time reasons).

My first reason I love my dad is because he is extremely supportive of my interests and of everything I do. My dad has always been my number one fan and has been to every award ceremony, contest, and just about everything I've been in. My dad also has made sure I've been at all of my friend get-togethers and hangouts because I cannot drive. My dad is; and will always be, my greatest supporter.

My second reason on why I love my dad so much is his hard-working nature and his strive for excellence in everything. My dad has a real eye for efficient and excellent work, and encourages me to achieve excellence in everything I do. My dad always pushes people, not just me, to have excellency in their work, whether that is the minimum-wage worker, supermarket employee, or the electrician we hired, he expects excellence and a strong work ethic. He works very hard to provide for our family and I am most certainly grateful for it.

My third reason I love my dad is the way he can connect with others. My dad is a hit amongst my friends because he doesn't just have small talk and the usual "How have you been?" but wants to have actual conversations with them and get to know him, my dad brings vibrance to every conversation, whether that's playing cornhole, or back and forth banter between our pastor. My dad is a fun guy to have around who genuinely cares about people.

I'd like to wrap up this blog when a dedicated thank you to the my dad and all the fathers in the world for their amazing support and love to their kids. We have a lack of dads in our world, which is a shame, and it's especially a shame that they are not more like my dad.
